FIRST ANNUAL MUSEUMS of the UPPER BAY CONFERENCE
Saturday & Sunday, January 23-24, 2010
10AM-4PM
Join regional colleagues to enhance knowledge of best practices for small museums and historical societies in the collection, preservation, and interpretation of our cultural heritage. Workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities are included. Lead by trained professionals. Conference open to students, volunteers, and museum staff. Registration of $50.00 required by January 11, 2010

“NIGHT IN THE MUSEUM” GALA
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Watch as the museum transforms itself over night and comes alive with featured specialty foods, costumed interpreters, live entertainment, dancing, silent auction, and more.$60 per person; RSVP by February 19. Contact the museum for tickets.

COMMUNITY HISTORY DAY
Saturday, March 6th, 2010

“Our Community, Ourselves”, a new program of the Maritime Museum, will reveal local history in our own backyard through a series of student community history projects.
