Chesapeake: Past, Present, and Future presented by Ned Tillman

Mr. Ned Tillman, author of books: “Saving the Places We Love: Paths to Environmental Stewardship”, “The Chesapeake Watershed: A Sense of Place and a Call to Action”, and “The Big Melt”, visited the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum Wednesday, October 23. Mr. Tillman, who has devoted his life to environmental stewardship, now speaks at various venues about stewardship and sustainability. Mr. Tillman delivered a moving lecture about the Chesapeake Bay’s history, current and past stewardship efforts, and his vision on the future of the Bay. Towards the end of his lecture, Mr. Tillman spoke some of his new book, “The Big Melt”. We were very pleased with Mr. Tillman’s lecture, and hope to have him back in the future.
